Queen of Water

María Virginia is just a little girl living with her simple, indigenous family in Ecuador when her life changes forever. She is taken to another town to work as a servant for another well-to-do family. At eight years old she must do all of the housework, care for two young children, and is not allowed to go to school. She is often mistreated. It doesn't take long for her to realize that she is enslaved. Will she ever see her family again? How can she break free from her bondage? As she grows into a remarkable young woman, María Virginia rises above her circumstances in this true story filled with heart-wrenching experiences and heart-warming inspiration.
